Her Blooming Self is an archive of cyanotype prints featuring the plants and flowers from my mother's garden in
southern Turkey. This collection includes a rare childhood portrait of my mother, taken before she and my father
began documenting their lives after having children.
To me, Her Blooming Self is more than a collection of prints; it is a portrait of my mother's journey and the
woman she became. It encapsulates the most significant legacy she passed down to me: her profound love and
respect for nature.
